Easy Fit Roofing - Tough to beat Warranties
ROOF AND FACADE SEAMED METAL SHINGLE COMAX BOCO 330
The small-format roofing COMAX BoCo 330 is based on historically proven shapes of roof shingles. Current production technology has made it possible to improve the fitting of roofing elements to full-area plank/OSB decking or dense lathing. The elements are fitted indirectly using a stainless-steel system attachment and mounting material. The elements are interconnected by simple horizontal grooves that ensure the compactness and waterproofness of the roof cladding. Expansion stresses due to temperature changes are in case of COMAX BoCo 330 excluded. Lightweight aluminium alloy roofing puts a minimum load on the underlying roof structure, which is particularly advantageous in case of renovations. With the size of its elements, the BoCo 330 roofing is ideally adapted to smaller roof and facade areas. Small, lightweight elements are of course advantageous in terms of assembly and logistics. Machine production contributes to a regular look that resembles pleasant natural shapes.
ALUMINIUM ROOFING CORE - COMAX®
Aluminium as a very light metal is widely used mainly in the form of alloys in the building, electrical, automotive and aerospace industries. The alloy used to produce small-format shingles is optimized both in terms of chemical and mechanical resistance as well as in terms of processing - cold bending. We can simply say that the material for COMAX BoCo 330 with aluminium core does not crack, does not break and remains sufficiently ductile for additional cold bending. Apart from steel, aluminium alloys are the world's most widely used metal construction materials due to their excellent properties. The optimized alloy, EN AW 3005, is a material with high weather resistance and ideal corrosion resistance. The result is a very long life of the aluminium roofing and cladding. In addition, aluminium is fully recyclable, thereby compensating for energy production of the primary metal. Minimum washing of metal, as well as of COMAX® surface finishes, allows aluminium roofs to be integrated into rainwater collection systems.

SHINGLE BOCO 330
COMAX BoCo 330 is based on historically proven small-format roofing systems that covered the roofs of prestigious buildings in the past. The use of a relatively new High-Tech material - aluminium alloy, coated with the highest quality COIL COATING technology, together with the industrial production of individual shingles, shifts the practical and aesthetic quality of BoCo to the level of the third millennium. It is the technological progress that made the production cheaper so that this great roofing of prestigious roofs and facades is affordable for a wide range of builders. The basic aesthetic quality of the roofs and facades of coated sheet metal is the colour. In addition to standard colours, COMAX ROOFS®, as manufacturers of coated sheet metal, can offer more than 600 shades of RAL-derived colours.

THERMAL
DILATATION OF METAL SHINGLE BoCo 330 IN PITCHED STRUCTURES
Thermal expansion is a typical physical property of all substances. In many cases we can technically take an advantage of it, in roofing industry, such property is undesirable, but it must not be omitted. In the various climate, we must routinely take into account sheet temperatures ranging from -20° C in cold winter up to 80° C in severe sunlight in summer. Small-format roofing such as the COMAX BoCo 330 compensate for thermal stresses in joints automatically. The expansion ability of the used joint (horizontal groove) must not be impaired by gluing, screwing or riveting.
The aluminium alloy EN AW 3005, designed for cold bending of sheet metal, is ideally ductile due to aluminium alloying and meets the highest demands for T bends without cracking at normal temperatures.
Surface finishes of roofs of PVDF, PUR / PA (polyurethane/ polyamide), achieve the highest quality of this material delivered to the European market. Sheets for the production of our roofing systems combine the highest corrosion resistance, UV resistance as well as resistance to mechanical damage. With a protective overcoat of up to 50 µm, our roofing systems are able to withstand even the most demanding conditions, such as in chemical environments, mountains and coastal areas.
BUILDINGS WITH CHARACTER GROW INTO BEAUTY AND OVER TIME THEY GAIN VALUE
The architectural design of the building with roofing from COMAX ROOFS® requires a responsible visionary approach. Sheet metal roofing or facade covering can decorate the building throughout the whole 21st century. Like no other, the well-made metal roof resists the extreme strain of natural elements for many decades. Thanks to the concealed shingle fitting system and the retaining clip in its lower corner, it is possible to shape and adapt the templates to the roof and facade surfaces.

ROOF ACCESSORIES AND SAFETY FEATURES FOR COMAX BoCo 330 ROOF SHINGLES
The classic shape of metal shingles is suitable for roofs and facades of modern and romantic buildings of all purposes and sizes. It is always necessary to pay particular attention to securing these roof structures against falling snow and ice plates. Snow is an extra concern for facility managers and building owners. It is the duty of every property owner to ensure that any fall of a roof avalanche does not cause property damage or even harm to people moving in close proximity to these buildings.
Your roof will have a unique look with a roof covering weight of up to 20 times lower than conventional ceramic or concrete tiles. A classic 200 m² gabled roof will typically weigh 50 kg/m² with a total weight of 10 tons when laying a ceramic or concrete tile roofing. In contrast, aluminium roofing will reach a weight of only 0.5 tons on the same roof. This is an invaluable advantage not only for transport and laying, but also for the construction and operation of the building.
Rich experience of tinsmith production of folded seam with tradition of Czech lacquered sheet COMAX®
To produce their first design small-format roof and facade tiles, COMAX ROOFS® have teamed up with a foreign manufacturer with international experience. Square shingles connected by horizontal grooves are made in Germany, a country with a rich tinsmith tradition. A high level of craftsmanship is a basic requirement for a design product designed not only for roofing but also for facade cladding. The geographical proximity of the German manufacturer is not only advantageous for logistical reasons, but also a guarantee of suitability for the weather conditions of Central Europe. Coils of top-quality prepainted for COMAX ROOFS® are processed by pressing and bending on an automatic line, which ensures precise dimensions and thus the required regularity of cladding of flat façade and roof surfaces whose structure resembles pleasant natural shapes.
