STANDING SEAM IMITATION ROOFING COMAX KLIK

The COMAX ROOFS® company produces COMAX KLIK roofing in two basic variants - standing seam 25 or 31 mm.

It is advisable to apply steel Klik to plank, or OSB decking or to install steel Klik on classic 40 x 60 mm battens with a maximum spacing of 250 mm. Laying of the roof cover on battens can be used up to 600 m above the sea level.

The use of COMAX KLIK 25 mm standing seam is suitable for altitude up to 600 m above the sea level, with the possibility of laying on the battens using polyethylene tape PE - 5 x 100 mm, which prevents the vibration of the roofing in bad weather and thus reduces the noise of the roof cladding. It is advisable to use a separation layer when laying onto decking, to level the wooden underlayer and to prevent the boards from being pushed into the individual roofing sheets. Furthermore, this element separates the roofing sheet from the eventually treated timber, improves the sliding of the sheets during the thermal expansion of the material, drains the condensation from the reverse side and ensures the water tightness and windproofness of the building when fitting the roofing.

We offer a complete range of accessories in the form of customized roof trim for COMAX KLIK, penetration and chimneys sleeves for seamed roofing. Furthermore, safety features such as tubular snow traps for seamed roofs, snow breakers, walkways, ladders and steps. All elements for fixing to the roofing are anchored by a clamping element attached to the standing seam and there is no perforation or distortion of the COMAX KLIK sheets The brackets are installed on each roofing seam, creating a sufficiently solid grid to catch snow.

SOLUTION OF VENTILATED RIGE OF COMAX® SEAM ROOFING

Nowadays, there is very few roof spaces that are not or will not be used for loft conversions in the future. If a building is normally inhabited, humidity will be created in the form of water vapor that needs to be ventilated to prevent the moisture from damaging the roof structure and its main function. COMAX ROOFS® offers a complete system for ventilating the roof cladding in the form of a perforated ventilation bar that is applied between the standing seam roofing and is fitted with a bent ridge as standard.

Installation of COMAX KLIK roofing is quick and intuitive by simply clicking the standing seam, we get the look and functionality of the classic seamed roofing with usability in a safe pitch from 5°/14° without the cross connection of COMAX KLIK 25 mm roofing with a sheet length over 8,000 mm. Safe roof pitch for roofing with the groove height 31 mm is 9°/15°. Fitting of the roofing is provided with stainless wafer head screws and is hidden and protected against the weather. Carefully read the installation instructions before installing the roofing.

The aluminium alloy to produce coated coils is ideal for sheet metal seam roofing and the production of COMAX KLIK groove roofing. Thanks to aluminium alloying, the alloy is ductile and meets the highest demands for T-bends without cracking even under extreme loads.

Coated metal coils from COMAX ROOFS® designed for standing seam roofing have high quality, aesthetic and have a long life and colour stability. PVDF, PUR / PA (polyurethane / polyamide) finishes combined with modern coating technology guarantee the highest quality of this material for the European market. Sheets to produce our roofing systems combine the highest corrosion resistance, UV resistance as well as resistance to mechanical damage. With a protective overcoat of up to 50 µm, our roofing can withstand even the toughest conditions, such as chemical environment or salt in coastal areas.

Your roof will have a unique look with a roof covering weight of up to 20 times lower than conventional ceramic or concrete tiles. A classic 200 m² gabled roof will typically weigh 50 kg/m² with a total weight of 10 tons when laying a ceramic or concrete tile roofing. In contrast, aluminium seamed roofing COMAX Klik - 2.1 kg/m², will reach a weight of only 0.5 tons on the same roof.
