Trapezoidal sheets belong to traditional building elements that are used primarily for roofing of larger roof areas of agricultural or industrial buildings. In most cases, the trapezoidal sheet with the higher profile is the basic structural element. Other applications are trapezoidal profiles of various sizes such as facade panels, wall profiles, suspended ceilings, foundation formwork, fences, etc.
COMAX® ROOFS centre with a production plant in Velvary, Czech Republic currently produces four types of box profiles with the designation TR-18 , TR-35 , TR-40 and TR-50 .All these roofing profiles are suitable for pitched roofs. The trapezoidal profile with the designation TR 18 often finds its use as a façade panel for cladding larger areas of production, commercial and agricultural buildings
COMAX® trapezoidal profiles are formed on a modern profiling lines. In 2017, it was supplemented by a new line for production of trapezoidal profiles TR-40 and TR-50 - these are other suitable structural, roofing profiles with even higher load capacity. By profiling with precise length cuts given in the laying plan, we obtain the dimensions of the trapezoidal sheet precisely determined for the particular roof structure, and facade if applicable.
Aluzinc Trapezoidal Sheets COMAX® Higher degree of protection with a very effective look, for buildings without the need for coated material.
Natural material design with cathodic Aluzinc protection of exceptional corrosion resistance. The same rules as for coated material from Metal Trade Comax, a.s. apply also for cutting this material on the construction site. The use of multi-angle grinders and similar tools is prohibited. Aluzinc self-healing ability is ensured by the straight shear cut. This will provide a brown patina protective layer on the cut edge and no rust will appear. It is therefore not necessary to treat the cutting edges additionally.

SUITABLE VENTILATION OF TRAPEZOIDAL ROOF COVERING
Preparing a ventilation gap and ventilation inlets and outlets is important for flawless operation of the roofing using diffusion-enclosed large-format roofing such as trapezoidal profiles. Preparing of the ventilation gap above the safety waterproofing layer of the roof with the recommended height of the ventilated ridge in accordance with Annex E of the ČSN 731901 standard: 2011 Designing Roofs. To recommend setting the appropriate ventilation gap, it is advisable to determine the roof slope, rafter length, increased requirements according to the roof design, etc.
FACADE AND WALL PROFILES COMAX TRAPEZE
COMAX trapezoidal sheets with a higher profile are a suitable solution for cladding and roofing larger complexes of buildings, sports, storage and production factories. Due to the exact length of the trapezoidal profile according to the design documentation of the building, we can prepare laying plans of the roofing as well as the cladding of the building facades with precise installation of windows, doors and other penetrations. Production of trapeze is tailor-made and can be shipped in several stages according to the construction phase. With this step we eliminate material cutting and save additional costs associated with the installation of roofing.
ANTI-CONDENSATION TREATMENT OF COMAX® TRAPEZE PROFILES
ABSOREX - Anti-condensation foil, made of non-woven fabric, interwoven with a multitude of black-and-white fibres, between which small chambers are formed, designed to absorb condensate and evaporate back to the room, hall after the outdoor warming. The main function of the foil is water absorption, noise reduction, resistance to microorganisms and prevention of damage to goods stored in space with a simple roof structure.
The foil is used on the inside of COMAX® trapezoidal sheets to prevent condensation from dripping into the building's interior. It is mainly used in non-insulated warehouses where condensationforms on the inside of the trapezoidal sheet due to external temperature changes. The treatment is widely used in agricultural buildings, where due to the high concentration of moisture from stabled animals, high condensation also occurs at the ceiling even in insulated buildings.
MODERN PROFILING MACHINE FOR PRODUCTION OF TR-18 A
Trapezoidal sheets are formed on modern profiling lines in company headquarters in Velvary, Czech Republic. From there they are subsequently dispatched and delivered not only to the Czech market. In the second half of 2017, a brand-new line to produce trapezoidal profiles TR-40 and TR-50 was installed. Newly, COMAX® ROOFS will be able to offer basic construction material for large-area pitched roofs and facades of larger production, storage and commercial buildings.
